Title: nForce3/4 and AHCI SATA Bounties Now Open
Post by: dammy on December 30, 2007, 05:19:44 PM
Thanks to Antonis I, TeamAROS now has two new bounties to support SATA in AROS.  AHCI (http://thenostromo.com/teamaros2/?number=65) and nForce3/4 (http://thenostromo.com/teamaros2/?number=64) SATA support bounties are now open for donation.  This is another soarly lacking hardware support that AROS is in dire need of.  Please donate.

$9 eh?

Heh, I would imagine you could charge upward of five figures for similar work in an embedded system, especially if you support hot plug, port multipliers and non-data (SMART) commands.

That's the initial donations.  Nearly all bounties, even the ones now in the $2K range started with a small donation.  People and Corps add more monies to shove it into the four figure range.  Which is why I announce a new bounty(s) on AE, AO, AWN and Moo to get the message out that it's open for donations.
