Title: Which items are you looking for?
Post by: oldman3000 on December 30, 2007, 04:38:21 PM
I was thinking of which Amiga item I would like most to add to my collection.  I think it would be feet for my A3000T.  I plan to make some that a fellow Amiga person took pictures of, but I guess my the top of my list is feet :-D .  Also anything to do with GVP hardware.

I've got an eye out for a HD solution to use on my C128. I really want a CMD HD, but I may settle for a IDE64.

I want a 68060 accelerator and tons of RAM for my A2000.  I'd also like to max out my A4000, both my 1200s, 500, and CDTV with RAM, graphics cards where applicable, drives, and accelerators.  My A1000 shall remain unaltered.

I'd also like the lottery winnings to pay for it and all the Sun hardware I'd want as well :-D

fastlane scsi

I wasn't aware that the Fastlane SCSI 3 card was so sought after.

I have one that I was planning to use in an A4000 because the hdd controller on my WarpEngine accelerator was acting up, but maybe I should consider to just replace the harddrive that's causing the problems...

Possibly, I have a lot of hardware that isn't being used at the moment.

I will like to upgrade the ROM on the Fastlane first, to see if it cures a problem I have with memory on the board. Until then it is a very good substition for the SCSI controller on the WarpEngine :-)

Which Sun hardware are you looking for?

Specifically, two twin 200MHz Ross HyperSparc MBUS modules for my Sparcstation 20, and another two for my Sparcstation 10.

After that and the aforementioned Amiga gear, I'd like a bunch of the multi-CPU Enterprise systems to fool around with :-D

The HyperSPARC's aren't so hot.  MicroSPARC or SuperSPARC are better for the clock.  I have two HyperSPARC cards in my SS10, and a MicroSPARC in my SPARC Classic, the MicroSPARC easily keeps up with two HyperSPARCs.

Sorry, not giving up my one HyperSparc :)  It's needed in my Sparc 10 to make it keep up with the Sparc 20's..

a bppc and bvision maxed out on memory and the skillz to make a cool (both senses of the word) small case to house it in...

Also a minimig and a spaceship with warp capabilities. But I'll settle for the accellerator and minimig if I can't find one on ebay though the way the cost is now I might as well look for the spaceship...

We are looking for original Draw 4D, Draw 4D Pro and Aladdin 4D before Nova Design took it over many years ago. We are trying to build a historical software library of all the old
versions.

Isn't the IEC cable the same as a MIDI cable?  Why don't I remember for sure, I really should know this!  If so, MIDI cables are *easy* to obtain.  The RF switcher shouldn't be that difficult either.

A new PPC based ATX motherboard that will run AmigaOS and interface with an old A1200 motherboard to access the AGA chipset to run old games that access the hardware directly. I've been waiting for one since 1995.

Prefereably one with USB 2, SATA, PCI/PCIe, DDR, etc.

I think they'd be surprised that there is a market. I was waiting for AmigaOne but OS 4.0 took so long they stopped making them.

I can't believe there isn't a hardware vendor out there that can't release a new Amiga motherboard.

-Nyle

Other than that I guess I'd really like to find an AGA Scandoubler/Flicker fixer that used the A4000 video slot.
