Title: memTLSF and Zune questions
Post by: motorollin on December 29, 2007, 09:21:22 AM
Where can I download memTLSF now that Bernd has taken over development?

Also can I totally replace MUI with Zune if I'm using AfA? Will any MUI app work seamlessly with Zune?

The AfA-OS Zune backport works reasonably well, with a 'promoter' tool required to be run in the background in order to redirect MUI calls to Zune.

There are still a few bugs to be ironed out, and some tools I used refused to open correctly using Zune, although this may simply be because the programmes in question were not written for absolute MUI compliancy.

My suggestion would be to simply experiment with the promoter and play with real gradient backgrounds ;)

Cheers,
James

I dont think there has been a release of TLSFmem (Get it the right way round) since v1.4 (http://www.amigahellas.gr/modules/mydownloads/visit.php?cid=4&lid=34) by Chris Hodges

@James
Thanks for the hint. Will install Zune and play with the promoter tool.

@Alex
Thanks for the link. Re. the name, Bernd has renamed it from TLSFmem to memTLSF as agreed with Chris Hodges.
