Has anyone got a cd32 psu (or two) for sale, without the actual console? I can't seem to find one anywhere.
Or alternatlivley, is there instructions for building one anywhere?
Cheers.

Am I remembering wrong? (I was a proud CD³² owner for a whopping 10 days) I seem to remember it was the same as the A500 one.

I think AmigaKit sell PSU's

The connector differed from the A500. Funny enough it was the same as a C64 one. Sell you a CD32 PSU? I have at least 3 but your on the other side of the planet and the postage would be silly.
I have seen instructions on converting an A500 PSU before so perhaps a google in that direction may help.

You are right! I remember now! I used a C64 PSU with the one I had.

Ok, so let me make sure I get this. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
I can use a standard C64 PSU, as it's pretty much the same thing.
I can modify an A500 PSU.
Now one more question... Is an A500 PSU beefier than a CD32 PSU?
The reason that I'm asking is that I have an SX32Pro (which I have never really used), and I find that I can't use a flopppy drive as the darned thing just does not power up when I have one plugged in (from memory, as I have not had a CD32PSU since mid 2004).
Also, I'm guessing that I need an A4000 Keyboard. When I purchased the SX32 I assumed (incorrectly) that an A2000 Kbd would do the job.
Thanks for your help.

A4000/A2000 keyboards are compatible. The only difference is the plug, and adapters can be bought at any computer store. I think AmigaKit even has them, but I don't know if they are the direction you need.
I seem to recall the C64 P/S was a little weak for the job, and in my experience, A500 P/S's are very unreliable (most likely due to their age by now). Actually, if I were you I'd just build a power supply from peecee parts. The connector is easy to get. RadioSchack even sells them.

Here's a thread about building a 1581 PSU from a standard pc PSU, which also works on the CD32 (http://www.amiga.org/forums/showthread.php?t=33456)
(But you have to check if the pinouts are correct, though)
