hi l have broken amiga 2000 psu
l have freind who can fix it but he needs the layout
to the psu circuit design.
any ideas if these are available
thanks :-)

One of the solutions is put an AT or ATX (pc units) PSU inside the original A2000 PSU's case.
The pinouts you can find in:
Amiga 2000 power supply (http://pinouts.ru/Power/amiga2000power_pinout.shtml)
and
AT power supply (http://pinouts.ru/Power/MotherboardPower_pinout.shtml)
or
ATX power supply (http://pinouts.ru/Power/atxpower_pinout.shtml)
The only missing wire on those "substitutes" is the "thick" signal, who can be generated by the motherboard itself. Simply change the position of jumper J300 on the MB.

thanks man thats cool yeah will try the pc psu for the
amiga 2000 . oh damm got 2 kittens running around with
ppc amiga with case of panic time ;-(

If you have enough skills, you can make a thick generator (http://aminet.net/docs/hard/Mix_and_Tick.lha) yourself, so no problems with timing issues (when changing the video to NTSC or PAL).
