Saw an ad on craigslist.org yesterday. $50 for an Amiga 3000! Sold! I picked it up today and it fired right up, the guy was a mathematician who did programing, about 300 or 400 floppies includes with manuals, and the A3000 even has a 386 card installed he said! Not bad huh? Came with keyboard, mouse and 1950 monitor. Had to drive 50 miles but what a good find!

Wow congratulations ..

Nice :-)
I paid more for my A3000 with 1960 monitor.

Must be because of the Christmas Spirit

Bargain!
I got a A2000, A1200T, monitor, OS3.9 and some software for free just for driving 170 miles to Houston to pick it up. I was so happy and they were in such good condition that that I actually made the chap take some money.

I guess we're both pretty lucky. I snagged a bare A3000 just about a month ago with 1950 monitor too and lots of programming books all for $20. Dragging all of it up 3 flights of stairs was hell, especially the box of manuals and books.
Its good to have a spare around.

Yes you all are very lucky.. :-) and congrates to you..
Check out my images..and see what bundle I got for free :-)..
Take care and happy holidays.

I'll post some pics. Ugh I havent had an A3000 for about ... 7 or 8 years. Going to be a fun project. I'd like to add my 3640 v3.1 card and max out the zips and do a KS 3.1. Plus all the custom chips that need updating.. and fuzzy battery..

I was going to "GRRRR...." at you and pan1k for the scores, coz I was pretty much first in line with the "benefactors" but I guess "better things come to those who wait" :-D
And as for the 3 flights of stairs Amiduff, ohhhhhh pppppppppppplease, look the "hell" I had to go through :-D
