Title: DIfferences between mediator boards?
Post by: Painkiller on December 21, 2007, 06:51:10 PM
I have seen many cheap Meaditor 1200 boards for sale.

Can someone tell me what are the main differences between
Mediator 1200
Mediator 1200-LT & LT4
Mediator 1200-SX

Elbox has discontinued Mediator 1200, is it a buggy board or is there something cursial missing?

Well, the LT4 is basically the same as the original Mediator, just under a different name. The LT is the same as the LT4 only it just has 2 PCI slots. They all require an AT power supply connection. The SX is it top Mediator for the 1200 at the moment and has 6 PCI slots, and can take either an AT or an ATX power supply.

With the LT and the LT4 basically being identical. The LT has 4 PCI slots too but onle two are functional. Buying new MACH chips will enable the ohter two slots as well, so you can upgrade from LT to LT4
