Hi All,
I am running an A4000T, Cyberstorm MKIII 060 66Mhz, 128Mb ram,
PicassoIV, IOBlix, CybervisionPPC.
I am sure that there is something small that
I am missing here. I have the CybervisionPPC connected
and I have installed Cybergfx 4.0 from the cd.
I have downloaded the update etc. The CybervisionPPC
shows the bootmenu fine, however I cannot get Cybergfx
to work.
When I attempt to open prefs:cgxmode a popup says
'unable to open cgxsystem.library v42'
I checked snoopdos and I have the library in the libs: dir..
I cannot understand why its not working, any ideas????
I am running OS3.9, is there nay problems with this?
PLEASE HELP , I am waiting online..... ;-)

Do you have installed the proper 680x0.libraries ?
Du you have updated the FlashROM to a version that supports the CVPPC ?
Does the CVPPC show a picture ?

I have two monitors running side-by-side. One has the
picassoIV connected and the other has the cybervisionppc
connected.
On the monitor using the cybervisionppc, I can get
a clear boot menu, however workbench is a strange
unreadable blue and black pattern.
I deleted all the cybergfx versions that I updated and
started again from version 3 that comes with the cybervisionppc.
It installs, I copied accross the libraries and everytime
I try to run CGXmode or showcgxconfig I get unable to
open cgxsystem.library, yet it is right there in the
LIBS: dir...
As far as I know I have the latest flash for my Cyberstorm MKIII card.
I am not sure where I am going wrong here....

Another idea: you've got a PicassoIV. Do you use CGX for the PIV, too, or do you use Picasso96 ?
You cannot run P96 and CGX at the same time. You have to uninstall P96 and install CGX to run CGX. And vice versa.
Bye,
Thomas

Two questions:
1: Are you running the latest FlashROM from DCE?
2: Are you using OS3.9 BB2? If so, try skipping the exec.library ROM update
oh, and 3: Are you using the latest update to CGX 4?

Thanks for all your replies... 1st problem was that I still have p96
running, which caused the conflict. I had flashed my MKIII to the
latest version, so that wasn't a problem. I updated CGX to the latest
version and it all works 100% now.
Thanks for all your help
