I don't use it!
I have most of my fave Amiga games on re-release for the pc.
It takes up valuable space, and so does it's games and accessories.
It's disc drive refuses to notice when a disk is inserted (have been told is easily fixable but am not technically minded).
Don't get me wrong I love it to bits and it's sentimentally priceless to me, but I have to be realistic.
And I need the money.
(Cocks head to side) How much would it even be worth?!
I have loads of games for it, but only a couple are in their orig boxes, however most have their manuals, inc Kings Quest 1-6.
Help me decide!!

I would say sell it... But I fear its sentimental value will far exceed any money you can get for an old A1200 with a broken DD... You might £15 for it...

I think it depends on the spec. If it's massively upgraded and you have spent a lot of time and effort getting it just so, then you will probably regret selling it. But if it's just a vanilla A1200 then you could probably replace it relatively cheaply and easily at a later date if you decided you wanted another one.

I have done it, wwaaaaaaaaaaaaa!
I've just put all my amiga stuff on ebay, I feel awful.
Especially since you can't find monkey island 1 or 2 on the pc for love and def not money.
I'm going to miss some of the quirkier games, but if I can't play them then there's really no point keeping them. And my TV died so I really need the money.
Anyone who wants to grab a whole bunch of games check out my amiga games bundle on ebay uk.
I'm going to go find some chocolate.

The Amiga Version of Monkey Island 1 and 2 work fine in ScummVM... infact, I run the Amiga versions of both those games using SummVM :-)

Easy solution: WinUAE. Lets you play pretty much all the games you want :-)
