I had some time to play today so I grabbed an 80GB SATA drive and connected it to my 4000D using a Manhattan IDE-to-SATA bridge.
(I have a picture waiting to be accepted into my photo album)
I have to remove scsi.device from SKIPROMUPDATES in SetPatch (I cannot recall why I have this there, but it must have been important for me to actually do work on s-s,) and the system sees the full 80GB (or 76.xGB anyway.)
But when I try to install the drive using HDToolBox (OS3.9 BB2, v45.2,) I get an "Error 4" after a few minutes. Of course, like a bad user, I did not write the error down, but I believe it said 'Error 4 in drive parameter.'
What's that mean?
