Iomega's support used to be quite good. Fortunately, they still have a bit of Amiga information in their knowledgebase: https://iomega-na-en.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/iomega_na_en.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=2193 The instructions are pretty standard for setting up a new disk.

A search for Iomega on AmiNet reveals quite a bit of useful information (mountlists, tools, etc.) as well.

I never knew that Iomega even mentioned the Amiga on their website  8-)

@ actungbab

I have a few drivers here. Are you using a 1GB or a 2GB Jaz drive mate?

Hmmm.... The Jaz drive could be knackered or if you are lucky it will just be the disk and you will have another one.

Anyway, I've got a driver that works for both the 1GB & 2GB Jaz drive and enables them to read/write to PC formatted disks. I've set the driver to 'scsi.device' and 'Unit 4'.

I'll shortly send you two files as an LHA archive. You just need to put 'fat95' into the L drawer of your Workbench and the driver 'jazpc' into Workbench:Devs/DOSDrivers

Reboot, then insert a Jaz disk :-)

Good luck :pint:

You'll need a different driver for the Zip. Just let me know if you get it :-)

I've just sent the Jaz driver and 'fat95' to the E-amail address in your profile mate. I'll send you some drivers for Zip drives later on. Just let me know if you need help with changing the Device and Unit numbers :-)

EDIT - Zip drivers now sent as well.
