Title: M1230 XA not showing up in BIOS
Post by: hamtronix on December 11, 2007, 12:24:47 AM
When I go into the BIOS before booting Workbench it doesnt show my M1230 XA card. Is this unusual? It seems to work OK otherwise.

Is that because it takes over the CPU completely?

First of all, BIOS is Basic Input Output System, a shoddy OS built into peecees, nothing to do with Amigas. ;-)

The only things that should show up are expansion cards with ROMs and code to cause them to show up.  Most accelerators have no need for this.
