Obviously, porting any of the recent games would only happen if they went open source, but which one would you most like to switch back to Workbench from?
If it hadn't been ruined beyond repair, I would have said Star Wars Galaxies, so instead I'll nominate Knights of the Old Republic 2. Good game, lots of replay value, and plenty of mods to keep it interesting.

Well if we had better drivers for GFX cards then we could run nice games like this, but I'm sure AMD, IBM and other's new open source policy only pertains to Linux groups. :/
Anyhow, I'd say Dark Forces 2: Jedi Knight if it was open source.
A nice port of DOSBOX is important, that would give us Dark Forces 1 and some other classics.
If we had a decent port of PrBOOM we could run my upcoming Nintendo DS star was project (made for prBOOM on DS, but will work on PC), and if we had GzDOOM we could eventually see my hi-res release of that on AROS some day, but those days will never come.

Off-topic:
No they're just Open-source, as in you can grab the source and do with it as you like. Of course there's a BIG linux movement that is driving the development of drivers etc but that doesn't prevent you from getting THEIR sourcecode and doing the same thing ;)

@XDelusion
still off-topic:
DOSBOX requirements (http://dosbox.sourceforge.net/wiki/index.php?page=SystemRequirements) suggest that it only requires libsdl in order to compile and run on a system with a decent compiler like gcc. It looks like it run about as well as a 386 on a 500Mhz mac and thus we'd probably be looking at signifcantly poorer performance even for this with a PPC.

Add one more vote for the X-Wing and Tie-Fighter games. Totally brilliant.
Even though the graphics are simplistic by todays standards I still find them to be a much more immersive and enjoyable experience than say Rogue Leader on the Gamecube.

Well I'm thinking ahead for that day that will prolly never come where the Amiga is actually running on a 2Ghz Machine or something.
As for the drivers that is great news, I hope that some talented coders for AOS, AROS, MorphOS, and Haiku get a hold of them and put them to the test.

How about Star Wars Arcade for Sega 32X?
Har Har Har!

The original Star Wars arcade game (Vector Graphics), or Lego Star Wars. :D

Any Star Wars game would be cool...
Any already exist?
...I think I just wanted to post...

my kids love all of the lego starwars games. the ones for gameboy advance and mobile dont need much horsepower and probably could make the transition quite well.
