Title: Stability problems with the WarpOS version of UnRAR
Post by: AmigaMance on November 29, 2007, 03:27:47 PM
Anyone else having problems with the WarpOS version of UnRAR v3.60 on AOS 3?
Sometimes it dearchives the file just fine and nothing bad happens afterwards, but frequently it disables the whole WarpOS/PUP sub-system after it finishes dearchiving a rar.
The OS and all 68k programs will continue to run ok, but no other WOS/PUP progs, including unrar itself. The 68k version of the command doesn't seem to have this problem.
I always raise the stack before executing it, but this doesn't help.

if you are speaking about this compile

7/20.System3.9:C> version unrar_Wos full
UnRAR 3.60 ( 3-Sep-2006)
Compiled for WarpOS, By Diego Casorran

yes, it is unstable. The author doesn't own a powerup card to test it.

I'm using the 68K version on AmigaOS and MOS
