Just wondering, has anyone out there tried the linux build of EVE online on an A1? or any other 'miggy running 'nux?

Isn't it just the Windows version wrapped with TransGaming's Cedega? It would still be x86 (or x64) code.

It's indeed just wrapped with Cedega, and thus isn't usable on PPC without an emulator. :-(

I once had an idea for a web-based EVE-like game which would be written in PHP and utilise only HTML and maybe a bit of Javascript, meaning it would be compatible with almost all browsers (including Amiga browsers).

I made a good start, with solar systems containing planets which could be landed on and traded with, and hyperspace jumps to travel between solar systems. It also had a comms panel for talking to players in the same solar system as you.

Sadly I got stuck on combat (hard to get that working when the game isn't "real-time") and also no longer have time to work on it.
