Hello
I run the blizzard ppc 603 and bvision card with 32 mo ram .
I am busy to try to use the simple ftp .
But look like to not be simple :)
Its very easy to install and i start it without problem .
But every time i connect any ftp successfully i get immediately a pop up windows that say
Software failure
simpleftp program failed (error #80000000b)
Wait for disk activity to finish .
And i have no other choice that or suspend and that lock the program or reboot :(((
That is the last version avaible on aminet :(
No one can help me this is the basicaly program i need to have working, to let me be able to upgrade and start to work correctly with my valuable A1500 PPC rulez hardware os 3.9 .
Or doe any one know a very good ftp software easy to use with mui or so graphical mode ??

I found SimpleFTP wasn't too hot either.
I'd highly recommend Robin Cloutman's RC-FTPd, the latest version,
2.72, is on Aminet. Currently freeware as well, has a keyfile
included.
Very easy to use and set up, I run it 24/7. Excellent program. If
you register it, you also get a free upgrade to version 3.0 when it's
released soon.

hello
thank you for the info i will try it immediately .
will take time to transfert it due that nothing work to move file for the moment only the network is ok :)))

If you are looking for a good amiga ftp CLIENT,
then you should try AmiTradeCenter:
http://www.amisource.de/ATC/
It is nearly two years old, but still a very
good program, and its free!

RC-FTPd is good, but its not a client its a server. I think he is looking for something more like AmFTP. Your best bet is to get Dir Opus 5.0 as it has a built in FTP client.

Oh, is SimpleFTP a client rather than a server? I know there are a
few nasty types of both out there.
I used to use AmFTP as my main FTP client, but it contains a number of
annoying bugs.
Currently I use AmiTradeCenter for everything now, it's very flexible
and works brilliantly. And has a Tetris game built in for those LONG
downloads :-)
