Title: Identify this PCMCIA SCSI Controller
Post by: hamtronix on November 28, 2007, 12:22:33 AM
I have an unmarked PCMCIA SCSI controller that goes to a quad speed external SCSI CD ROM drive that I would like identified.

Is there some software I can run on my Amiga 1200 that will tell me what it is?

Would 'generic' SCSI drivers work? I have ASIM CDFS.

Hold it closer to the screen so I can get a look.

Yes, you can run card_info from the cnetdevice (http://aminet.net/package/driver/net/cnetdevice) package to identify the card.

If (and only if) the card can use the Squirrel software, you're in business.

I don't think any other company have made a driver for such a SCSI card in the days.
