Title: IBrowse2.3: Strange when clicking on links...
Post by: LP on July 15, 2003, 03:07:54 PM
Hmm.. Has anyone a good suggestion on what I should do to this problem?:

Suddenly IBrowse began to make the links on all webpages yellow when I clicked once on them... OK... But why do I suddenly have to click my left mouse button 4-8 times, to open the link? -Before this stange thing I only had to click a link once...

Hmm... Any help appreciated

Hi LP,

have you got a serial mouse?

I had this problem when I first installed my Highway and a USB mouse, the problem was solved by installing the patched input.device (loaded by a line in the startup-sequence) as detailed in the documentation.

If you have any kind of third party mouse interface or software I would check it is installed and running properly.

Ups! Silly me...

I forgot to :rtfm: RTFM :-)
(I found the comment under the FAQ in the Poseidon guide)
Everything seems to be in order now...

Thanks a lot! Cheers!

@LP

The device is supplied with Poseidon and has to be loaded by adding a command to the startup-sequence.

To find the Docs for it open the Poseidon Guide, select the Class Drivers section, then HID class and on that page you should find a link to the input.device page:

"Be sure to have installed the new input.device to have a 100% compatible
mouse and keyboard replacement."

I think there is an option to install this in the Poseidon installer too.
