I need some help from you MiamiDX gooroos out there.
Here is my setup...
Cablemodem (RoadRunner)----> Router -----> 5 port hub
I have my Peggy hooked up to the router (not the hub, as the router has 5 ports also)
Also, I have MiamiDX up and running on MorphOS 1.3 but when I do a ping of 192.168.1.11 (my webserver) I get 100% packet loss. I have my device as via_rhinepci.device unit 0, I have the ip address as static to 192.168.1.14, netmask to 255.255.255.0, gateway to 192.168.1.1 (as my windows 2000 box says that is the default gateway using ipconfig). I have DHCP disabled in MiamiDX.
Using miaminetstat -rn I get:
default 192.168.1.1 UGSP 0 0 eth0
127 127.0.0.1 UGRSP 0 0 lo0
127.0.0.1 127.0.0.1 UH 1 0 lo0
192.168.1 link#3 UC 0 0 eth0
192.168.1.1 link#3 UHLW 1 0 eth0
224/4 link#3 UCS 0 0 eth0
Any help in getting this wonderful machine on the internet would be great!

I'm not too hot on the cablemodem stuff, but IIRC you need the old rhine.device from MorphOS 1.2. Your best bet for this would be to check with the gurus in #morphos.

yea, I've read about 1.2 version before... do you have a URL to this version?

I hope it all works out :-) Unfortunately, I've not any experience with cable modems. I might have been able to help some with DSL, but we can't even get cable tv here....
