I have a GVP A2000/RAM8 card installed in my A3000. It has two Kingston 4mb simms installed and the card shows up in the Config window as 8mb of RAM. But, the "other ram" number displayed at the top of the screen on Workbench doesn't change if I have the card installed or pulled. Just wondering how a Zorro RAM card is accessed and how to tell if it's actually being used.
Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Jason

Unfortunately, the RAM8 is a board who uses the Zorro address space, so if you have more than 8Mb in autoconfig space, it don't show up.
But, if it is not the case: do you have the utility disk to add the RAM to your Amiga? Could it be the addram, from the original Workbench disks, IIRC.

It's a shame there aren't more Zorro III ram expansion cards available. Imagine a new design that took modern memory modules. I'd buy one. How hard can this be?
