Post by: Flashlab on November 23, 2007, 04:40:18 PM
Now that I have PCI should I exchange my Delfina Lite for a Soundblaster PCI? What are the pro and cons?

Next in line is Ariadne versus Realtek8029? Again which performs better?

Delfina produces great sound, too.  Delfina doesn't drag too much on the system, which I like.  I have not yet tried a PCI soundcard to compare?  How does using a PCI sound card affect system resources and overall responsiveness?

I like Delfina's sound better and it also plays mp3 files with it's DSP instead of CPU. So keep the Delfina.

I'd pick Realtek instead of Ariadne though.
