Post by: r6stu on November 23, 2007, 04:17:00 PM
OK, so after surviving a near death experience at the hands of this project. It has come to a climax.

Just a few more steps are required for the finishing touches and then the hard task of writing it all up begins.

Here is a few pics of the conversion. comments most welcome.

I can post a guide here, but the main one will be on my site.

I did a google to find out what was required and then modified the psu wireing, and then stripping it out of the case.

Nice, it looks kind of home made. But does the A500 PSU give enough power to supply a more expanded A1200 if you have etc. Accelerator, hardisk and CD?
For a more expanded A1200 i think that you still have to use a AT/ATX PSU.

Thats what this project is about! inside of the A500 PSU is a 200w Mini ATX PSU, that has been modified to fit inside of the case of the old style A500 unit!
