Title: Mediator sound
Post by: Miloo on November 21, 2007, 04:13:03 PM
Ive just installed the sound software but a message appears saying 'unable to load the Mixer.library', the workbench pattern and Amidock is no longer displayed and sometimes the workbench graphics are broken up.

Help? :-?

Are you currently using your mediator for gfx ?
Did you run mediator config ?
What does the output file from Medconfig say? It should be saved in ram after running Medconfig. and remember to choose report not install :-D

Ive tried to setup the gfx according to the instructions but its not in the picasso96 mode setup program.
Ive run the config program and where it says :

pciinfo report: No pci devices in mediator.

Elbox are not very helpful either

@Miloo

Sounds like a recurring problem I had some while ago.  Try re seating all your cards and power connectors, that seemed to work for me.

It may have been to do with the PSU, which I later replaced, that was some years ago though so I can't be sure.  Check your PSU to see if the fan still turns and that it isn't full of dust.
