Subject says it all. I want to write a few tutorials, mostly to remember myself how I did this and that, on:
- how to install a TCP/IP stack
- how to install an external CD
- how to connect to a LAN, once you'got TCP/IP up and running
- how to connect to a SMB share (using smbfs)
- how to connect to an FTP server
and so on...
But don't know how to take a screenshot!
I've searched Aminet but, boy, I'm sure stupid, didn't find anything.
Any suggestions? Links? Laughs?

I like CyberGrab (http://aminet.net/search?query=cybergrab) myself.
After lauching it you hold down the LEFT Amiga key and tap on the M key to quickly toggle to the open screen that you want grabbed. To grab your Workbench screen you can add CyberGrab to something like a ToolsDaemon menu, so as not to take a grab with the prog itself showning in it OR you can just launch CyberGrab then quickly close its window. You've got about 3 seconds before the grab 'Save' window appears :-)

I think will try this, because I don't have PersonalPaint installed and also don't know if CyberGrab will work with my plain AGA 1200.
Aaarg! I searched Aminet using "screenshot", "screencapture", "capture", "shot", "image", "screen", ... but not with "grab" :-(

CyberGrab docs say it supports screenmodes provided by CyberGraphX, so I don't think it would work with an AGA screen. So SGrab is probably your best bet. And please do share your tutorials :-)

A Tutorial would be cool! PLEASE finish that project and make copies.........perhaps PDF it or turn the Screen grabs into GIF's if your using AGA (Do not turn them into JPEG because you will lose quality and the color would be wrong.) you can also use PNG. THe reason I said GIF is because its just like AGA and saves in 256 colors and saves exactly and perfectly unlike JPG wich first turns it into 16million colors which you didnt originally have in your image so it gets all screwed up. NEVER save AGA images into JPG unless its a HAM8 picture of course.

I recently moved to Seville and what a welcome surprise it is to see another amiga user based here!
I would be glad to help with many of these projects you mention - though I suffer with amiga-amnesia myself and my free time is rather limited.
Perhpas it might be good to meet at some point? Do you know of any other active Amigo-Sevillanos (a user group perhaps)?

I don't think it would work with an AGA screen.
Here's one I prepared earlier :-D

It was taken using CyberGrab in an A1200 Desktop *without* a GFX card. The capture was ILBM which I then loaded ino PPaint7 and saved as PNG with maximum compression.
The SGrab suggested by Moto does have more functions, so good luck in whichever you choose to use :pint:

It could be the case that it wasn't really meant to work in an A1200 Desktop, but I just tried it anyway and it did mate :-)

I will try CyberGrab tonight. I'm happy I found Sgrab, is so easy to use! Will will try CyberGrab, I promise.
By the way, I installed ScreenJaeger (http://aminet.net/gfx/misc/ScreenJaeger.lha), an awesome screen grabber. It works letting you browse the memory, so you can play, say Colonization, soft reset your Amiga, run ScreenJaeger, find where the bitmaps were stored in memory and copy them to an image. Brilliant! I've never seen anything like this !

Sgrab worked out perfectly ! I had to install jpeg.library (in Aminet too) and tada! JPEG captures of every Window.

Thanks for the interest. I will start making them (slowly, sorry but I'm going to be father again). Everytime a tutorial will be finished, I'll post in a dedicated thread. Tutorial language will be English, and I want OO.org + PDF versions.I will probably use OS 3.1 / OS 3.9.

i used to use PPaint to make screen grabs, like Crumb said. I can see SView5 (http://aminet.net/package/gfx/misc/SView5) from aminet wich is a screen-grabber too.
i'll continue reading looking for news to post :D

Well, I use TurboPrint (v7.x) for that:
CTRL + ALT + P prints the whole screen on the printer
CTRL + ALT + S saves the whole screen to RAM
CTRL + ALT + A define an subarea of the screen for printout
CTRL + ALT + G define an subarea of the screen for saving
