Title: Amiga 520 Video Adapter
Post by: hamtronix on November 20, 2007, 01:18:30 AM
Just throwing this question out.

What do various people (y'all) think of the output of the 520?
Good , bad , OK?
And why do you think that?
Has anyone does an oscilliscope testing?

I think the A520 is a very crappy piece of hardware. Only the minimal components in order to the MCP1377 do its job.

Converting the unit to S-VHS out is a very clever hack, it gives you an infinite better quality and sharper image and it's an inexpensive hack. Only 9 resistor, a ceramic and an electrolytic capacitor, some wire and solder and you are in business again. :-D
