cool name Athlon, is that because you use that CPU? i use an athlon, but an old one
& before you became interested in MorphOS were you an Amiga user?
it interests me to know why people would like to buy morphos/pegasos without being an existing amiga user

I recall, the word “Athlon” is loosely translated as “challenger” or to “contest”. Think of Tri'athlon' sporting category. (Any Greek speakers here?) .

"The name Athlon is also a Greek root in the word decathlon meaning contest and is meant to denote strength, power, and speed."

Hi Athlon, let me introduce you to our little group.
Ok, first you'll want to meet Micky, he's the cute one...and Mike, he's kind of grumpy...and Davey, he's a little slow but a nice fellow....and then there's Peter....
hmmm...waitaminute, thats not our group at amiga.org...I must be thinking of something else...well welcome anyway.

My Yahoo chat nic is athlon and I do have an Athlon XP 1900+ CPU. I have used older Macs and met a person that told me about Morph OS and Pegasos PC.. I have built several Windows systems as well as fooling around in 1979 (High School) with old Univac and IBM computers (God rest his soul). I think that Morph OS will a good alternative to Windows and coupled with Pegasos PC, it will also out perform it. My avatar was taken from a butter fly sight the good old Morpho butterfly (actual name). :-D

That's right, in greek means "contest", "feat", "exploit", and "??????" (pronounced a'-th-lee-ma, for the Amigans try "say -t aathlema" :-D "AE4THLEHMAH" ), is "sport".
