Title: BPPC not seen in SYSinfo. Also 0mhz in Scout??
Post by: ddniUK on November 18, 2007, 02:20:28 AM
Hi all, my BPPC works perfectly well. It is 603e clocked at 175mhz with a 50mhz 68060

The board is either not recognised by system info tools or is reported as running at 0mhz

I am using Warpup 5.1 from http://phase5.a1k.org/

has anyone any idea what the issue may be?

Thanks

I was having similar problem but today my CSPPC suddenly stoped working.

Have you  tried whichamiga (http://aminet.net/search?query=whichamiga) ?

I also used the settings in the freespace demo that display PPC Mhz.

I think whichamiga needs Powerup (or Powerup emulation).  Since you have WarpUp already installed, you'll need the file ppc.library from the emulation package.  I have version 46.41 (not sure if that is the latest).  Also recommend getting the latest boards.library.  Are you able to run any of the warp demos?  i.e. gearsppc.exe?

hi thanks for the replies, yes all warp demos and games run well.

I use lots of WOS apps and datatypes with no problems too.
Whichamiga.

powerpc.library v16.1
ppc.library v46.24
warp.library v5.1
warpHW.library v1.0

On boot I get the powerpc/wos warning and have to terminate it.

Maybe try the latest ppc.library?  I know from reading the release notes that a lot of bugs were fixed in subsequent versions.

This is not right as far as I remember.

I used blizkick and some thing called BPPCFix or something similar.

I was the only way I could properly use all powerup and warpup applications at the same time. You have to remove the ppc.library from being resident by using it.
