Title: Amiga virus
Post by: Tenacious on November 17, 2007, 03:53:31 PM
I was given an A1000 and a box of software on floppies.  The original owner was convinced that most of the floppies were infected with viruses.

I will probably try to test or rescue these disks on a non-harddrive A500.

Is anyone using anti-virus software they believe in?

Any other advice would be appreciated.

VirusZ is one of the best

http://aminet.net/package/util/virus/VirusZ
(but it requires ks2.04!)

Make a copy of these floppies before you try to clean them though.
