Hi again Amiga users.
Sorry for the number of topics I'm raising recently but this one really baffles me. Got an FPU for my 030 Mk4 and although it looks fine other then a chip on the ceramic, I can't see how I could possibly test it without any benchmarking.
Any thoughts or ideas? :-?

Do you just want to check whether it's being seen by the system, or actually put it through its paces? If the former, then just type "cpu" in to a shell and it will show whether or not you have an FPU. OR you could use WhichAmiga to get more detailed info.
If you want to actually put it through its paces, then you could use a 3D rendering package which uses the FPU and check it works. I can't actually think of any other software which uses the FPU ;-)

Excellent, thanks! I think if it can read it is good enough. I was amazed how small and thin it was but sure does set the 030 unlike before with an empty socket. :-P Looks a real best.
