Hi all
Through time I have been given some broken Amiga's, 2*A1200, 2*A600, 1*A2000 and several A500's. Oh, and some C64's too...
I have saved them for several years, because I thougt they could be fixed. I have most of the IC's, new. All instruments, soldering iron and common components, but my experimence in reparing computers are low.
Anyone who know about at repair guide or faq to theese machines on the internet?
Some of them starts with at black screen, power supply OK!
Ona Amiga 600 starts with black screen and a constant flashing power led.
I will be most grateful to any help I can have to this :-)

Hi,
I didn't search for Amiga repair guides, but for the 64's you can find lots of stuff. Try:
http://www.devili.iki.fi/Computers/Commodore/
http://staff.washington.edu/rrcc/
http://www.webalice.it/gratteri/pla2eprom.html
I'm trying to restore a C64. Black screens on these guys usually means bad PLAs. Believe it or not C64s are rare here...
Good luck !

For Amiga stuff, a good starting place is obviously AmiNet (aminet.net)
Also Anthony's pages:
http://amiga.serveftp.net
Also there are tons of hints and lots of info in these forums, although the search system leaves much to be desired...
Good luck with the fix-up jobs!
