Title: Minimig PCB

Allright, so I just got my Minimig v1.1 PCB from Nusim via eBay.

I've got quite a job ahead of me, but I think I just might be able to solder it all by myself.  The soldering points aren't as small as I first feared.

So far I have the connectors (PS2, DB9, DB15, etc) and a pair of 68000's - just to be sure.  Anyone here who have the rest of the components all stocked up, ready for sale? :-)

Xilinx FPGA is the hard ones to get.

Yes, I noticed that... now...

I will take photos of the entire soldering session, in case someone's interested.  It won't be pretty, though.. :-)

Phone up your local Xilinx rep and say that you are working on a hardware Research and development project for Microsoft (or Apple or somewhere) and are thinking of using the Xilinx Spartan III or the Altera (whatever) and say that you need some samples for evaluation ;-)

When they ask for your address just put a few extra lines in:

Sounds crazy but I've gotten a number of things for free pulling that.... If you aren't good at lying to people, just tell yourself before you make the call or write that letter that you really do work for that big corp, as a satellite contracting company....
