Title: CDTV on ebay for 39 pounds!

Hey guys just picked up a CDTV on ebay in excellent condition for $98AUD (39 UK pounds).  Was that a good price to pay? I haven't seen one sell before so I'm not sure of their usual price.

Price is good the last 3 on uk ebay site have sold for 112 pound ,80 pound with buy it now and 72 pound for one wich had the box. All were complete with keyboards and mouses and disk drives.and i paid 25 pound for mine but that was about 2 years ago from a car boot sale. :-)

Hi,

Thats a good price, normally even the basic unit sells for £50 on Ebay UK although the German Ebay site gets a lot less... As for you guys down under, Pass, But £39 sounds good to me.

(The cheapest CDTV I ever got was £35 out of the local paper)

If it is in excellent condition, you can call that a bargain :-). I bought mine also in mint condition for only 30 UK pounds :-D, but the postage fee was the same amount  :-o :lol:

I paid 41 pound for a scsi adaptor for mine and 5 pound for an ancient drive that  had os 1.3 instaled .I only paid 2 pound for a scsi adaptor fo an a1000 but it was listed on ebay as a 1 meg memory expansion. :-D  :-)

The CDTV is one of the only Amigas, apart from the A1000, that I've never owned, I'd love to get one though, just for use as a CD player for my HiFi system, anyone want to swap a CDTV for my Technics CD system let me know.

Despite thee fact not ,many were made there are still lots of cdtvs for sale so getting one will not be hard. :-)

I have one for sale.
CDTV + remote control + Keyboard + 3 1/2 " floppydrive and (I think) 10 CD's

It is a Triumph Sprint RS which is my second RS and my third Sprint
