Title: Hello from Down Under.
Post by: Monty1972 on November 04, 2007, 02:53:40 PM
Hi Amiga.org.

This seems to be a very well set up board. I used to post a little at Ancient Toys, but as that forum is now closed I followed a member with a memorable name to here -months after the fact.

No, I'm not stalking you Neongod. :)

I came here specifically looking for an ADF of Fury of the Furries. Can anyone help?

Hi Mony1972,

Welcome to the board. I'm also 'down under'.

Sorry I can't help with the ADF. Just a note as to the board in general, the moderators here are pretty serious about enforcing the code of conduct with regards to software copyright infringement. I'm not really sure about Fury of the Furries specifically, but I suspect that game may not have been released to the public as shareware.

Cheers. Hope you enjoy your stay.  :pint:

Greets Monty,

The usual response from a forum, don't let it bother you.

Use google (and spare time!) to find what you need,
then come back and drop some links that put us close
to the action! lol JK

I never feel guilty downloading a rom if I actually
owned it in the past.  Or if I put more coin into a
machine than the machine is worth!

If only I put all those $2 coins in the bank, I could
have my own DAYTONA and/or ManxTT machine.

As for Street Fighter 2 , well lets just say that I paid
for the machine ten times over, just in small 40c deposits!

Good luck finding that one,  never heard of it myself.

But I did find this, so it's out there, somewhere!

Try going through the links on Lemon Amiga, I've no idea if they're all legal or not, but you will definatlety find Fury of the Furries on a few of the sites.

@Lernatix:

ROMs in Amigaland can only mean the Kickstart ROMs, the games were always shipped on disks =).

As a new member, I suggest you read the posting guidelines. Specifically:

Do not post links or requests for warez.
Warez in our definition is illegal software up to and including "abandonware". The exception is if the person is KNOWN to have the legal right to distribute said software. This is not debatable.

Fine. But don't post links.
