Title: Installtion space issues.
Post by: r6stu on October 21, 2007, 11:46:39 AM
Since repartition my hard drive into one 2gig and one 4gig partition and converting to SFS, some software has been giving me problems installing.

Both TFX and Canon Print Studio are telling me that I do not have enough space free, even though both drives are pretty empty.

What can I do?

Add large dummy file(s) to the drive so that free storage drops to some small value (typically below 2147483648 bytes). The installer will work then. Afterwards you can remove the dummy file(s) to reclaim the disk storage.

Whats the best way to do this? would a large shapshifter hard file be enough?

Should be fine.

I expect any large file(s) would do the trick.
