Title: PNG icons in Magellan II
Post by: motorollin on October 17, 2007, 01:03:36 PM
Hi all

Just installed Magellan II on my A4000. I use AfAOS to get PNG icon support. In Workbench this works fine, but in DOpus none of my drive icons or icons inside listers show up. However, appicons with PNG icons *do* work. I know Magellan has issues with PNG icons because it doesn't use icon.library, but I have heard that AmiKit uses Magellan II and has PNG icons working through AfAOS. So I am wondering if there is anything I can do to get it working?

TIA

Do you by any chance start AfaOS *after* magellan?

No, AfAOS is started before Magellan. Should I try starting it after?

Just tried it and it made no difference, so I moved it back where it was in the s-s.

The About requester in Magellan shows "5.8 Magellan II". Is there a more recent version which might work better with AfAOS?

Thanks for the link! PNG icons through AfA-OS work in Magellan 5.82
