I think, myself included, use it as a way of expressing part of our personalities or other interests

Whilst the post is in the wrong section, is it such a big deal that it requires such a rude response.

Is a rude respone such a big deal? If he posted in the right forum (which is not so difficult for someone who's gone to school for nine years and is not raised by wolves) he would only get helpful responses.
