Title: X-Surf zorro to pci bridge

If I'm uderstand correctyly X-Surf is actually zorro to pci bridge ? adapter for pci NIC ?

Could it be poor man's mediator with correct drivers etc?

Hi,

Its actually an ISA slot, but im guessing the same logic could be applied re: attaching different ISA cards.

not really sure if an ISA gfx card would be much cop though :)

That is pretty much what this board does. It works with ISA network cards and some other non DMA ISA cards.

ISA Sound cards usually need DMA.

The X-Surf card itself acts as a Bridgeboard between the RealTek ISA card which is soldered to the board and the Zorro bus.
