ok...here is a weird one..
i have been checking alot of wb screenshots lately and i noticed alot of people had done something i never could get working so i need help on this one!!
How do i set Background picture on the TOOLBAR ?
yes i know where to set it..and set it borderless etc, but it wont work here,... (asked alot ofpeeps and same with them...)
the guys who have it working say "it just works"

:-? How do you mean? My A4000 runs DOpus Magellan II in Workbench replacement mode, and my listers use the little toolbar, with images in the MagicWorkbench style. I'm not sure what you mean about a background picture....

Yes, in DOpus the toolbar icons are close to each other, there is no space for a background picture.
Perhaps you mistake it with the OS3.9 AmiDock. AmiDock has transparent icons and a background skin. But it is not part of DOpus.

Ah ha... at last, someone with the same problem as me :-)
I could never ever get those toolbar buttons in Name/IconAction mode to appear textured, as I've seen in many screenshots too.
Aye, I could make them borderless and all the other stuff but the texture just would not work!

Aye, I could make them borderless and all the other stuff but the texture just would not work!
;-) I suspect that you're noticing the difference between two sets of images. One set is created with the "background texture" as part of the image data. Try different images. I'll have to fire up my old 'miggy and have a look.

i wish i knew how to upload pictures in here, as then i could have showed it to you...1 working and 1 NOT!.
its the device list toolbar (root , back, make dir etc...)
this can be set to use transparent + background picture + borderless + dog tags etc..
all work except for the "GRRR" background thingy, i want it to work...ASAP!... please help.
if i create a NEW toolbar then it works fine, but how do i get this to be in the listers ? (device lister etc)
any help is appriciated.

thomas: yes i am sure its not os3.9 , its dopus magellan 2..., and its the LISTER TOOLBAR , not a docking station/icon bar etc etc...
also you can set spaces....
---edit--- oops i forgot to say "u dont need spaces anyway as its setting the background picture ONTO the buttons..."
try it in preview mode...works fine...but when u save it wont accept it... (for me anyway) (and many more...)

:-? If you've followed someone else step by step with no success, perhaps you're missing a library file or something. Try running SnoopDos in the background.

ok i found out why now...
lol... obviously it doesnt work so someone ripped all icons from pc...with gradient on...
so u just replace the set directly (and wow u have a gradient bg on the icons buttons..)
its on aminet and called OPUS6.lha
have fun
