Title: Amiga friendly printers
Post by: stopthegop on October 10, 2007, 01:43:58 PM
I finally found a printer that works extremely well with my Amiga setup.  Its a Dell 1700 Laser printer and I'm using the "HP 6P" driver in AOS 3.9.  It gives me perfect output every time.  In the past I had tried Brother printers, Canons, Printeks, and Casios...none of which worked exactly right.  The Dell 1700 is actually a Lexmark but I'm not sure which model.  I'm curious what printers other people have had success with getting to work well with Amiga systems?

Hi, that sounds interesting,
I have looking in my Storage from OS3.9 CD and in my Workbench and I can not see any driver that says HP6P?
I see plenty of HP Deskjet series but not that?

I'm successfully using a Canon BJC 250 on my 1200, not a single problem with it.

I've downloaded the drivers from aminet, BTW.
