HI to everybody!I used AmiDevCpp to write a simple program (hello world) for a paper for school. I saved the file as hello.dev and then i downloaded winuae emulator and the kickstart roms. When i push start, i see a picture with a hand holding a diskette. On top of the diskette it says : Amiga Workbench. What must i do next, so i can run the file (hello.dev) and see how the program works on a amiga interface? Please help because i have to give the paper to my teacher today or tomorrow. If somebody write for this, please explain to me as i was an amateur.
Thanks!

You need a workbench diskette, the front-end of the operating system. The ROM itself is just the core libraries, much like the Linux kernel. Workbench would be the OS that runs on top of those core libraries.
To simplify your life, I'd download amikit and hunt down a copy of Amiga Forever, AmigaOS 3.9 or Amithlon for it.

You've got to purchase amiga Forever, but you can download it from their site once you purchase it.
