Title: A1200 Diagnostics software
Post by: Hodgkinson on October 07, 2007, 10:09:35 AM
Hi all,
Does anyone know of any diagnostics software for the A1200 to verify that all of the system components (Especially parallel and serial ports with the aid of loopback plugs)are operating correctly - A bit like Norton Diagnostics for PC's ?

As a matter of fact, I have Norton Diagnostics - The DOS version - And I have PCx installed on the system ... But I doubt the results of running Norton Diag under emulation would be of much use :-)

I've had the A1200 in pieces for about 6 months and I'd like to make sure that everything's working correctly before I get strange, mysterious, unexplained errors in certain video modes etc; or give up on trying to get something to work just because a serial port has a duff signal line or something.

Cheers,
Hodgkinson.

Any ideas where I might be able to get it from?

Thanks,
Hodgkinson.

Does anyone know what the latest version of the Advanced Amiga Analyzer software is (And where to find it?)?

I've managed to turn up V2 of the software, but I've already spotted a bug (Clicking in a blank area of a screen turns up, say, a pin specification, from the previous screen).

Thanks,
Hodgkinson.
