Just what OS are avalible on the 68k platform or more specificly for a classic amiga such as the A1200. I already know of the the 68k port of linux and of course about the Amiga OS thing but i was wondering is there amything else? i I have heard of Morph OS? :-? but what that is i dont know?

With something like Shapeshifter, older (non-PPC) versions of MacOS should run on an Amiga. I also think that there are 68k ports of various BSDs.
MorphOS won't run on the "Classic" Amiga. It's a PowerPC OS, like AmigaOS4 in many ways, and needs a PPC processor. Why you'd want to run another OS on a "Classic" Amiga is beyond be though :-)

Well, there is NetBSD, and the now dead OpenBSD.
There is also Minix and Amiga-QDOS (a port of the Sinclair QL OS). I think, but am not certain, that there was an OS9 port for the Amiga as well. And then there is of course AMIX, Commodore's UNIX.

There was a OS-9 port, but it cost $600, according to the FAQ.

Plan9 was availible for 68k (NeXT, maybe others), I don't know about the Amiga. I don't think much work has been done on it recently.
AMIX is better suited to a A2000 or A3000. One might go throught some pain trying to install it on a 1200.
