Title: .dms file

ok i have a gvp harddisk for my a500
bought it cheap with box etc..only no manual and setup disk
the disk want to bootup but give a error
it spins etc..
no i d/l a image of the bboh and its a dms file

how to put this on a diskette?

im total noob on this
i d/l that file put it on my a1200 it runned and said that it was selfextracted


now how i put the dms file on my floppy?

i cant find that dms proggie

isnt there a 1 in all proggie that copy it to disk?

can you unpack adf files to floppy disc?

a .dms is a disk masher disk image. the file from aminet is the package that contains dms.
dms is the program for writing it back. Run it from shell.. If you cant work out how to do that, there is a gui for dms on aminet too.

Its been over 10 years since i used dms, but it ran from shell/cli,

dms write crap.dms to df0:

or summat along them lines.
