Title: Amiga Floppy Simulator Cable?
Post by: Amigo-Mex on September 26, 2007, 08:27:08 PM
I saw this on eBay, a cable that simulates a floppy drive using a PC's parallel port and software (on PC):

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=320162110264&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=011

Has anyone used this? Is recommended?

Sounds good.. but not sure if it's just something I can make on my own instead of buying...

Any info will be appreciated, thanks!!

I use his Peripheral Simulator cable and MPDOS to operate my amiga with the PC keyboard and Mouse. It works very well. krishnasoft is very good about answering questions about items also. This has been my experience with him. I have not tried the floppy simulator but I assume it works too, and although you could easily make a cable the software will no doubt take a while longer to create. Check out the website. :-)
