Title: Programming C on the Amiga
Post by: Chubbyrain on September 22, 2007, 07:24:46 PM
I've not programmed for the Amiga in many years and am looking to get back into it. What would be your first choice for a C development program and where can I get it?

I'm basically looking at utilities and maybe a game.

Thanks

How about AmiDevCPP (http://amidevcpp.amiga-world.de/)?

Is there any easy to install GCC environment for OS 3.x? I've never been able to find it.

Many thanks for the link.

I was thinking of actually developing ON the Amiga 3000 I have, since I really detest Windows and try not to use it if possible. If there was a Mac version, then that's another story.

I see that S Hut has a couple of Development packages. Has anyone used them and can someone advise which one is better?

I am thinking of the same; i might start doing soma c coding during bad weather. How can someone make amiga C coding on windows? I understand compiler will make file, but how do you test it? amiga exe file cannot be started under windows, is there a wrapper?
