Title: a1200 can't find hdd!!
Post by: rossfitz on September 21, 2007, 01:00:02 AM
Hello,

I've just pulled the 1200 out of storage to play some games - my problem is that the hard drive (original 2gb) doesn't boot up and when I goto hdtoolbox to try to format/partition it isn't listed.  I know it is connected correctly as it trys to access it when I first turn the 1200 on (I can hear the HDD and the activity light comes on).  Any suggestions? :-?

Cheers

Ross (Australia) PS. I have a Blizzard 1230 Mk-IV with SCSI board and 68882 chip on ebay at the moment for anyone who's interested! Item 130155458424.   :-D

 Give this a try:

When the Amiga boots (showing the animation screen), press reboot (Ctrl + A + A). This could do the trick.
