That's right, Amiga's great, great grandfather the Commodore Pet has a cameo appearance in the new movie Terminator 3! :-o
I'm not going to say why or where because I don't want to ruin it for you, but the moviw is defuinately worth seeing anyhow:-)

I can confirm this - I also saw it - it looked like a Pet 2001 - the same model I used to own (I think its in the barn back home).
I just returned from seeing T3.

I head a roumour that there was an A600 in Men in Black 2... though I have not had this confirmed... anybody with the DVD care to make some stills?

I have it on DVD, but didn't see it in the film. Any idea where?

Yeah a a600 is in men in black, but from what i could see it may of just been the keypad?
Its when Will Smith is in a basement of some sort.

I just watched the entire movie again and I don't see anything remotely resembling an Amiga 600. The part where they are in a basement doesnt have one, unless I am blind. I recorded the whole movie to my hard drive, so if anyone can be specific where the A600 is supposed to be, i will make a snapshot.

@Gav
I didn't think the A600 even had a keypad. That's what made it smaller than an A1200, a major A600 selling point or some such.
-
I saw an Amiga 600 used in a program called 'Kiss Me Kate' (BBC) not so long ago.
I know.. its nothing up to the heights of Men In Black or Terminator 3 but i just thought u'd like to know 8-)

way cool.... gotta go see T3 like fasT!! :)

It is a A600 or atleast the keyboard, just becausei said keypad did not mean i was saying numeric keypad..Why would i mean just a numeric keypad? pretty stupid thing to use in a film don ya think?
Its where they meet that alien and he is gonna give Tommy Lee Jones his memory back..Its just sitting with a load of sh*t...

A600 was horrible anyway... :¬)
I never saw it in the film, but I don't have it handy to haul out. My Amigaphilic friend is also a huge film buff and he never noticed it himself. But.. if anyone finds it and has still images to post of it..
A1200 was the most cool Amiga, imo. The only one I really did consider shelling out large amounts of hard earned cash for. Sadly.. it was very quickly thrashed by advances in PCs and not properly updated and supported by Commodore.
John
edit: The Pet and the Amiga are not even slightly related, though... Commodore acquired the Amiga concept, it was not in any way a descendant of the PET or the C64. (Just thought I'd point that out)

Interesting!! Gotta see it now...

I just came back from seeing T3 this afternoon- good flick.
I don't want to spoil it (there's really not too many surprises, but the ones there are are good), so...
Look for the PET (sorry, it could be a PET/CBM as well, I wasn't looking too closely) near the end of the film when the heros are looking for SkyNet's core.
Zoltan
Actually if you think about it, the PET IS out of place- it's too new! :)
See the movie and you'll understand.

Well, I say that THIS close-up of the MIB2 shows a key NOT present on the A600:
