yup, LED's ..
My setup have no led's anymore and i need to find a way to light my machine up abit :)
i want one for each HDD , 1 for my floppy and power etc, i have an Towerhawk 2 tower fitted with fastata and mediator.
i heard about pin39 on the ide ports, but i dont know what the best way is, also the floppy and power is still a mysterium :)
thanx for helping out!

Ehm... why not use the pins already on the A1200 motherboard? Power led is there and so is DF0 led. If you want to have a different led for different HD then you can't use the IDE led on the motherboard but you might want to take a look at the HD cause they usualy have a small led or a connector for such a thing that you could connect up to your own leds. :-D

brian: yes i know all this , but if u read the post abit more closely u will see why i aint using that method.
btw fastata inside my tower wont output on the orginal led connector even with the small cable on the ideport.
why? , have no idea..anyway i want the leds on my tower to work, not some bits and pieces....
hope to get more replies here...
cheers

Ah yeah, the fastata boards don't make the onboard LED light, light up unless you have the little connecting wire from the board connected to pin 39 on the internal IDE.
On my fastata board the previous owner had cut off the connecting wire (for some reason), so seeing as I wasnt using the 2.5" port on the fastata board I just joined up pin 39 on the fastata board to pin 39 on the amiga motherboard. It worked a treat and now I have lovely twinkling lights ;)
