Today I've received my bare white Minimig rev 1.0 PCB all the way from China :-D So without further ado, are here the pictures:

Now that I've shown you mine, will you show me yours? :lol:

I guess there is some pga - weller love in store coming up for your board soon :lol:
-
Okay, I've changed the subject title :-D
-
Company name and URL please ???? :)
oh and are those gold plated or just bare copper pads ?
-
here (http://cgi.ebay.com/Let-your-PCB-made-on-a-professional-way-for-a-low-price_W0QQitemZ170011122495QQihZ007QQcategoryZ9715QQtcZphotoQQcmdZViewItem) or here (http://www.makepcb.com/)
No, they are not gold-plated, it's from the flash of the camera :-D
-
damn .... it seems a really though job to solder the FPGA on there. Are you sure you're upto the task ?
-
What file did you send them?
-
@Belial6
I send them all the gerber files in the minimig1_gerbers directory in a zip file and got this PCB in return :-D

@countzero
I don't know, I haven't even started learning basic soldering techniques. So I think SMD soldering is way out of my league at the moment :lol:

Way out of the league ?
Try around 0.3mm pin lead. The average soldering iron would solder around 10 pins in a go.

How much it cost?
-
@Chain
The price for two boards was 37 Euro including postage and packaging :-)
-
Hey CD32, You only Silk screened the top, not the bottom ?
I hope you know what resistor/Capacitor goes where for the bottom.
I know there are a couple of IC's on the bottom too. (LM1117).

Nice! :) But if you really want to use the Minimig, you shoulf know that there is a Version 1.1. In Version 1.0 you need a wirefix to make the board work properly (regarding to the Homepage of Dennis van Weeren) But should not be that hard to fix I guess. Have fun with the Minimig and let us know how it works. :)

@whiteb
Yes, because there was no BSK (bottom silk screen) gerber file in rev 1.0 ;-)
@jdb78
I had already sent the files to the PCB manufacturer when rev 1.1 was released :-)
-
well I would love to get my hands on one of those..or a few actually..
Putting the components on the board would be a breeze for me.
Anyone know if the MiniMig boards are still avail. for sale
thanks
