Title: Good home for an Amiga. :)
Post by: kd7ota on September 10, 2007, 05:40:53 AM
At one time I posted up a thread saying that if anyone had an Amiga that they wish to give to a really good home, that I would be more then happy to take it.  Someone did reply on that thread, but then it got lost somewhere.

So I was wanting to do it again and maybe that person will respond again.  :-D  And of course im open to anyone else who wishes to do the same.  :-)

Thanks.

Always, I am however on the other side of the pond. That is not likely to be very economical...

the ideal home for my amiga(s) is one where the owner has lots  and lots of cash money to hand over. :-P

Lol :) I know, im sure its a 1/1000000 chance for someone to just give an Amiga, but its worth a chance.  Heck, id even settle for a Commodore 64 :)  :-)

Where were you last year when I gave away my VIC-20?

Are you interested in monitors? I have three and would gladly part with two of them. They are in bad shape. One works, but when it heats up, the vertical goes on the fritz after a while and then it resets itself.

The other one has a round connector so I'm not sure if it was for Amiga.

The third one I use for testing. The plastic frame was cracked in shipping. Previous owner put a bunch of stickers on it. Looks rough.

I could take pictures and give you the details on what they are exactly...

round connector sounds like possibly a C64 monitor

There are some Amiga monitors with round connectors. I have had a 1084 that used a round 6 pin DIN job, and a Magnavox that had the same setup.

What model Amiga are you looking for? I have some 500s, I might consider sending one for cost of shipping.

Hi!  :-D  Long time no see.

I actually remember you giving out the VIC20, but I guess im more of a C64 guy.  :-)

I already have a few takers, but I greatly appreciate it!

The monitors sound like a project to do, but I already got enough of them.  :-(  but Thanks.
